The Journey

Worlds Adrift is an incredible system-heavy MMO. My role was to create systems that tied into ship building and combat, loot and progression, and tutorialization.

Responsibilities

  • Primary System Designer for key features such as Overheat, Ship Building, Player Customization, and more
  • Overhauled the Loot and Progression systems for players at all levels of play
  • Designed and scripted the entire tutorial system
  • Managed production timelines for new updates

Mafia III - Hangar 13

Mission & World Designer

LIVING WORLD

Every civilian visible in city throughout the above video - those interacting with one another, dancing, leaning on railings, using props, walking down the street - were all either generated by the data I set up, or hand placed by me.

Responsibilities

  • Designed unique pedestrian (race, gender, economic class) and vehicle (model, driver, visual additions) population makeups  for each of Mafia's ten districts
  • Created a map of data across every road in New Bordeaux to create a functioning traffic system of stop lights, highways, street signs, and intersections
  • Implemented world interactions of civilians throughout the entirety of New Bordeaux
  • Created detailed design plan for, and scripted side missions for upcoming DLCs
  • Produced prototypes of early combat templates for Open World Activities
  • Generated covers, path objects, and navigation points for our AI system

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - 2k Marin

THE DOCTOR

My job was to produce the team creating the first major mission in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - The Doctor.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduled a team of designers, engineers, and artists over multiple sprints
  • Provided QA support through playtesting and entering bugs into Test Track Pro
  • Helped the production team roll out SCRUM development to the team

My Player was a budding feature on NBA 2k12; I was tasked with producing the team behind it.

Responsibilities

  • Helped produce the My Player development team
  • Provided with QA for My Player, My Career, and Exhibition modes.
  • Set up animation key framing for lip movements during in game player press conferences
